Our Story

Kimberly is the sole owner and creator of Hometown Originals. With the support of her husband and her family she has been able to build this into what it is today.

Kimberly was born in California, but raised in Iowa when her family moved back home. She lived a rural life where it wasn’t just down the road to get what you needed. Her family learned to be creative when needing things. This allowed her imagination to run wild.

Kimberly grew her skills throughout college. While earning her degree as a radiology technologist, she nurtured her love to help and care for others, and with this she uses it everyday in her craft. Kimberly pours her heart and hard work into each item that she creates for you. She takes pride in her work and wants the very best for her customers. Her motto is “If I’m not willing to use it for myself or my family then it’s not worth sending out.”

In her free time she loves to spend time with her husband(who has supported every move she had made), her daughter, son, and her pup, Erza.
