It Started with Rita.

One small keepsake showed me how something made by hand could carry a lifetime of love and memories.

After my grandmother Rita passed away, I had a rosary made with her funeral flowers. Holding it in my hands, I felt close to her again - I understood how powerful one small meaningful gift could be.

Rita’s Rosaries became my starting line. It led me to create jewelry for my own wedding, including a necklace and bracelet that helped me carry her with me into a new chapter of my life.

I’m Kimberly, the maker behind Hometown Originals. I know how much trust is placed in me when someone sends a treasured memory, chooses a Bible for someone they love or asks me to create a meaningful gift.

This work began with my own grief, faith, and family. Today I create each piece with the same care I would want for my own.
